Welcome!

I’ve been blogging for a few years, and much of it has been an experiment. I’m addicted to templates, colors, and trying out the newest techie stuff. You may see a lot of changes here because I love variety. I purchased this template in part because it came pretty much assembled and with four color options, so I can change with the seasons. That way, it can be the same, but different, and then the same again.

I’m dedicating this site to what I call Legacy Stories -  mine, and sometimes those of others.  These are the stories of our lives – the ones, we are courageous enough to explore and record. This topic is so important to me, I wrote a book about it, which turned into three with two more in the process. Sometimes we believe the lie that the only important stories are lived by the famous. The truth is, there are stories with the potential to impact the lives of others are being lived everyday by you and me.

Someone asked me if this website is Joy unplugged. Sort of. Most people see me as transparent, and I am – up to a point. Like everyone else, some of my stories are worth sharing, and others are not. So, while I am willing to be vulnerable, there are boundaries. My husband calls that balance. I trust his wisdom If I write about others, if they are living, it will be with their permission. If they are not, I will take great care to treat their stories with respect and their lives with dignity.

I have no idea how God will use the stories on this website, but I am confident He will. How and in whose life is up to Him. I will record the stories I’ve lived and those I’m given knowing they are hold value for someone, somewhere, sometime.

I hope you’ll stop by often and join me on the journey that is my life. . .and that in the process, you will sense the importance your Legacy Stories hold.
